The Winter Holidays have passed and the New Year is almost a week old. The past few years have been a challenge, more so for some than others and now we are wondering what's in store.

Of course The Stars can never predict the future, but we can get an idea of the general influences and an overall picture. 2012 is likely to be a year of tension between ideals and practical day-to-day issues. It should come as no surprise that economic security will continue to be an issue. Patience, discipline and careful planning are the key - we're not likely to see any quick fixes even though there is likely to be a strong tendency towads quick decisive action as opposed to honect diplomacy and communication. The best course of action in 2012 - be on guard against those who seek to charm and/or convince. More so than ever, concentrate on due diligence, get the facts and do the accounting.

Can you believe it? The Astrological Year is half over - here we are already in Scorpio. First of all, my sincere apologies to fellow Librans for not posting our yearly forecast. Saturn, the planet of restrictions and obligations is in our sign. Saturn's visit in our sign for the next year may tend to bog us down in details, but can also focus our energies on worthwhile tasks. This is a great time to focus energies on the big picture, but be prepared for possible overwhelming surprises. Best to focus on doing the due diligence.
